Site Engineer & Lead Engineer
Slough (SL1), Slough
£24000 – £32000 per annum
An opportunity has arisen for a Site Engineer and a Lead Engineer ideally with pump repair & maintenance experience. The team is based out of their West London headquarters which shall be moving during Quarter 1 / 2018 to a new location in the Slough area.
The positions are part of team responsible for the Commissioning, Servicing, Repair and Maintenance of Pumps and other Mechanical Equipment.
The roles will include the removal and installation of pumps, pipework, valves, motors, fans, heat exchangers, vessels and other associated machinery. You will ensure strict adherence to safety procedures. Verbal reports on site fault finding recommendations or completed works will be standard requirements for this role. This can be a physical job and there is a minimum requirement of fitness to climb ladders, lift machinery etc.
The Site Engineer will be working under the supervision of a lead site engineer. It will be expected that you use your initiative to resolve problems and maintain excellent relations with the client. Some out of hours overtime working will be part and parcel of this role and also supporting the team of 10 in a ‘call out’ rota.
The Lead Engineer will also have use of a company Van.
As you will be working in a small team you must have good organisational skills, be bright and able to self-motivate to complete tasks.
